With about 40,000 nautical miles, “Clipper Round the World” is the longest sailing race doing a circumnavigation around the globe. The race has stop-overs in at least 10 ports including Liverpool, Cape Town, Sydney, Sanya and Qingdao in China, New York and others. The 12 boats are the largest fleet globally of 70ft ocean yachts and in total about 700 crew will sail the race (or parts of it). The fleet will also participate in the prestigious Sydney-Hobart Race.
