What a great number. At least when it is the amount of nautical miles sailed in the last 24h. To put this into perspective: for my German costal sailing licence (BR-Schein), which I did 20 years ago, we were required to prove that we have sailed 350 nm. We did that but just during our one week training course in the Baltic Sea. Now I’m on a boat doing it in less than two days.

However, as the weather front has now overtaken us (Friday 13th October) we see saw the sun again this morning for the first time in at least 3 days. The bad news is, that we lost the nice winds with that as well and we are back to some ‘slow’ sailing with only around 10kts and won’t get to anywhere close to 300 nm/24h soon again.
